Neethlingshof Estate Unveils its Debut Cap Classique Offerings: Introducing the Brut and Brut Rosé

Neethlingshof Estate, a distinguished name in the world of winemaking, is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever Cap Classique wines: the Neethlingshof Brut and Brut Rosé. The Neethlingshof Brut is the epitome of traditional winemaking artistry. Hand-harvested early in the season, the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are pressed gently in accordance with a Champagne pressing program. The result is an exquisite blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, boasting a medium lemon hue and an invigorating aroma of citrus with hints of tropical fruit and biscuit. The wine's crisp acidity and delicate fruit ensure a fresh and racy zestiness on the palate. Maturing in contact with the lees for an average of 18 months, this Brut offers an incredible depth of both flavour and complexity.

Complementing the Brut, Neethlingshof Estate presents the Brut Rosé, a captivating creation that showcases the art of blending and innovation. Crafted from a blend of 35% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinotage, and 5% Meunier, this unique sparkling wine captures the eye with its attractive pale salmon colour. The aroma of fresh strawberry is enriched by notes of cranberries, pomegranate and a hint of rhubarb, creating an exquisite sensory experience. On the palate, the Brut Rosé offers a distinctly rich and fruity character reminiscent of bright red berries, accompanied by a subtle touch of brioche.
